well, I am alive, and back. I arrived from Fresno at 6:30 am today, and am actually for some reason not as wiped as I would've expected. I brought my new camera with me, and snapped a couple pictures between Fresno and Reedly (the city we were actually in). I took these pictures from passenger window in the car, going about 55 mph.
I really like this picture, taken from my side window. You can't even tell we were speeding by these fruit orchards, protected for the winter by the tarp.
I just really liked the color of the sky here, but couldn't get a clear shot of it. It was dusk and we were driving, and if I used the flash, it was reflecting, but without it, I didn't have enough stability to get a clear picture. You get the idea though.
This is a lone palm tree in the middle of acres and acres of fruit farms. It was kind of strange just hanging out there with the tractor thingy (which I am told is called a "back hoe")
if you look at this picture closely, you'll see the little oranges on the trees. I guess it's not california unless there are some oranges?
