Oh, Jo!

I have this memory of the story "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott where Jo goes and sells her hair, and when she returns her sister says "Oh, Jo! How could you?! Your One beauty!!" Well, that's exactly what I did today, minus the sale.

I chopped off all my hair and donated it. (well, I haven't technically donated it yet, it is still waiting to be mailed, but you get the idea) I figured - cut 10+ inches and do a simple style to what's left. I donated my hair once before, but it was even longer, so when I donated it, It just looked like a shorter version of how it always looked. I decided if I was going to do it, I was going to do it right.

I went to get my hair cut by a long time friend, Moses, who since a little after High School has been cutting
and stying hair. He chopped the ponytail and immediately had a vision for how he wanted my hair to look once it was done. He cut it and showed it to me curly before straightening it for the finishing touches (so hopefully it'll look good both ways)

Here are a couple pictures from when we went out tonight so you can see what he did. It is angled to the front and really short in the back, and he actually thinned it a bit to control it when it's curly too.

I think it looks great, and even better in person than in the pictures!

Looks so cute straight. Curly, not so much. Too mushroom-ish.
